Child’s Play Toys is the dream come true for owner Nancy Savage. Nancy grew up in Sioux Falls, and spent many days in her youth riding her bike to downtown Sioux Falls. She lived in Sioux Falls until life took her away to cities such as Houston, Los Angeles, Indianapolis and Seattle. During those years, Nancy’s hope was to have a family and eventually return home to Sioux Falls.

Six years ago, Nancy welcomed her CEO – daughter Isabella. For the first five years of Isabella’s life, Nancy and Isabella played, knew EVERY park in the Seattle area, and also spent countless hours at toy stores and children’s book stores in the Pacific Northwest.

Nancy was ready to come back to Sioux Falls in 2009, and Nancy wrote the business plan for Child’s Play Toys in a coffee/cupcake shop in West Seattle, WA. Her dreams were becoming a reality, and today, Child’s Play Toys is an anchor in downtown Sioux Falls. In September of 2011, Nancy expanded her store to include children’s clothing known as Child’s Play Wear. And yes, CEO Isabella – now eight years old – is very involved!
