Job Title: Play Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Toy Store Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include assisting customers in finding the perfect toys, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding and selecting toys that meet their needs and preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including unpacking merchandise, restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest toy trends and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Passion for toys and a genuine love for playing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Availability to work nights and weekends, as these are our busiest times
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
